FerriSoft C.A ("us",
"we", or "our") operates Baby Monitor for Kinect (the
"Application", “App”).
Spirit
Baby Monitor for Kinect spirit is to give
control to the parents, displaying in real time (day or night) the current
status of their babies/children, in a secure manner, meaning no
Video/Images/Data leaves the house, Baby Monitor for Kinect source code doesn’t
connect with any Server/Cloud, the application doesn’t
need Internet to work.
Data Security (Personal Information)
We don’t collect any information about the owners
of Baby Monitor, information we get from the Stores where you download the App
(Microsoft Store, Google Play Store, iStore), only
includes Date of Purchase, Country of Origen, and financial information, like
Currency, Tax, Transaction ID etc.
We don’t get to know your name, neither your
email, neither your Xbox One or Devices IP address, neither your Credit Card
Info.
Data Security (Video)
Broadcast functionality will work using your
network (WiFi) settings, and will be protected by
your Router encryption. As we can’t control variables like your router model,
router settings among others, we cannot ensure the security of the information
you transmit in your own environment; accordingly, you acknowledge that you do
so at your own risk.
Have been that said, we use a proprietary
header in our video stream, which means that out of the box other applications
for watching video stream cannot display Baby Monitor for Kinect streams.
NOT a Medical Application.
Baby Monitor for Kinect is not a Medical
Application, is not intended to be use in sick babies/children/patients. Is not
designed to prevent Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, or to detect Apneas, that’s
the reason why we didn’t develop any alarm mechanism on it.
Motion Sensor
Motion Sensor graph uses the depth data we get
from the Microsoft Kinect Device, the App analyzes it through specially
designed algorithms, and then graphs it on the screen.
Depth data, could lose precision on different
circumstances, like a close angle between the Kinect and the target point, we
recommend angles superior than 45 degrees, the close you get to 90 degrees the
better the precision, also some reflective clothes, smooth, rounded or
brilliant surface, among other factors can lead to misreading in the Depth
data.
That’s why we include a Control Line, which use
the same exact algorithm, if the control line is oscillating, that means the
arriving Depth data is imprecise.
